What are we learning in First Grade?

Reilly musicians in first grade have been reviewing Kindergarten music concepts.  We have been focusing on solidifying last year's explorations of our voices; grandfather and baby bird, sun and mood, as well as tempos turtle and rabbit.

We are continuing to maintaining the steady beat through our performed music and listening examples.  We are also enjoying using our critical thinking skills to arrange icons on the board and then point to them while singing songs and maintaining the steady beat.

Some instant hits in first grade include Bee Bee Bumble Bee, Snail Snail, Queen Queen Caroline, Rain Rain and Zapatito Blanco.
