We determined the number of beats for our tune and then improvised melodic patterns using high and low sounds.
We placed manipulatives on our paper. The heart is our symbol for beat and the circle represents the sounds in our melody.
When we were finished, we performed our composition as an ensemble and showed the high and low sounds on our body while singing.
