As you already know, fourth grade musicians were selected to participate in this year's Chat with the Austin Symphony Orchestra. The project is made possible by generous donations and support from Dell and the Austin Symphony Orchestra.
Our final chat was held last week in our computer lab. This chat was very unique since it was conducted in the style of an online chat room as opposed to video chatting. Students brainstormed questions to ask David Mairs, guest conductor of the ASO.
We were inspired by David's responses and were impressed with all of his knowledge of music and conducting. We are really excited to see David and the other musicians we chatted with throughout the year at their presentation All Creatures Great and Small at the Long Center!
