Fifth grade musicians are studying the recorder! We have begun using the very motivational Recorder Karate program in our music classes. Students will study a different song every few classes and then have the opportunity to test to earn a "karate belt" for their recorder. Each piece incorporates various previously learned and new musical elements and challenges each student with additional notes.
